Thermal Cycling Testing

Temperature Cycling or Thermal Cycle testing is a environmental test that simulates thermal stresses on the Product by fluctuating extreme temperatures. This test is performed on materials to determine the resistance of exposure to alternating extremes of high and low temperatures. Thermal mismatch of materials can cause solder joint cracking, damage to leads and markings, and hermetic seal failures.
This test also used in evaluating product reliability as well as in manufacturing to catch early-term, latent defects by inducing failure through thermal fatigue.

Thermal Shock Testing

Thermal shock testing is the process through which a product is quickly transferred between two extreme temperatures to gauge its durability and identify potential breaking points.
This testing is meant to mimic in an accelerated environment, the wear and tear a product will encounter in usual conditions or standard use. These sudden shifts in temperature can cause physical elements to shatter, crack or bind in unintended ways.
Thermal shock testing is also for determining the resilience of electronic, electromechanical, plastic and mechanical products that will be deployed in the medical, consumer, aerospace, defense and automotive industries.

High Temperature Storage Cum Operation Testing

High temperature testing helps to evaluate the effects of high temperature conditions on performance, integrity and material safety. This method is best used on material likely to be deployed where temperatures are higher than standard ambient. During this test the equipment will be kept under particular temperature for a determined period of time.
High temperature can cause changes in size and changes of the physical/ chemical properties of the specimen.Subjecting the products and materials to high temperature tests will helps to determine their reaction to different environmental conditions. This test will be perfect in determining the durability and reliability of products for safety purposes as well as how the application of the products will perfect in reality.
Here are the other reasons why performing the high temperature test is necessary:
• Determine thermal expansion rates
• Determining of thermal coefficient mismatch
• Determining the resistance ability of thermal shock
• Determining product reaction to different temperature and humidity
• Determining products and materials aging abilities

Low Temperature Storage Cum Operation Testing

Low temperature can change the state of metals, gases, liquids and solids, cause damage to product depending on the period of exposure and change the functionality of mechanized processes.Low temperature testing is especially important for applications where electronics as well as mechanical components must function reliably in extremely cold temperatures.Low temperature testing helps to evaluate the effects of low temperature conditions on performance, integrity, and material safety.
This method is best used on material likely to be deployed where temperatures are lower than the standard ambient conditions.During this test, the equipment will be kept under particular temperature for a determined period of time.Subjecting the products and materials to low temperature tests will helps to determine their reaction to different environmental conditions. This will be perfect in determining the durability and reliability of products for safety purposes as well as how the application of the products will perfect in reality.

Damp Heat Testing

Damp heat testing can reveal various defects, such as delamination, deterioration of glass surface (AR coating),frame corrosion, metal grid discoloration and junction box attachment and connection failures.
With this test various things can be studied such as parameter shift failures, mechanical failures, coating degradation as well as other factors which are all important in maintaining the quality of operations.

Tropical Exposure Testing

Tropical Exposure test is a type of high humidity test when combined with cyclic temperature changes that helps in the determination of corrosion rates in materials. In this test, the material/product is exposed to various environmental factors (temperature and humidity) and corrosive products to study the impact of corrosion to certain industrial materials.
With this test, various things can be studied such as parameter shift failures, mechanical failures, coating degradation as well as other factors which are all important in maintaining the quality of operations.
